Elizabeth, the owner of CorePhysio, has been a practicing physical therapist since 1987. She graduated from Marquette University’s physical therapy program in 1987 and later earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2016. Elizabeth’s expertise lies in women’s health physical therapy, and she obtained her Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in this field in 2009. In 2005, she also earned her Board Certification in Pelvic Muscle Dysfunction Biofeedback.

Elizabeth’s dedication to her profession is evident through her continuous pursuit of knowledge and certifications. She has specialized certifications in Women’s Health Physical Therapy, childbirth education, doula training, and Pilates-based Rehabilitation. Since 2006, Elizabeth has been a faculty member at the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, where she provides continuing education courses on pelvic floor dysfunction to healthcare providers across the United States. Her expertise covers various aspects of pelvic health, including urogynecologic pain, colorectal dysfunction, elimination disorders, male and female pelvic pain, and differential diagnosis. She also teaches courses on urinary incontinence treatment in men, women, and children.

Elizabeth has contributed to several professional publications, including “Use of Transabdominal Ultra Sound Imaging in Retaining the Pelvic Floor Muscles of a Woman Postpartum” and “The Relationship Between Pelvic Floor and Abdominal Musculature: Clinical Recommendations for Rehabilitation based on Emerging Literature.” She has also served as a contributing editor for The Gynecological Manual.

As an educator, Elizabeth teaches foundational pelvic health rehabilitation courses and “Finding the Driver in Pelvic Pain” through the Herman and Wallace Institute. Additionally, she is involved with the Private Practice Special Interest Group (PPSIG) and the Washington State Physical Therapy Association.

Outside of her professional life, Elizabeth takes pride in being a mother to Davis and Liv, and a wife to Mike. She also enjoys training for triathlons. Her personal experiences as a mother and her ten years of experience as a sports and spine physical therapist have given her valuable insights into the role of the pelvis in human function. Since 1995, she has focused her career on expanding her understanding of the pelvis and its impact on overall health.

In her role as a practice owner, mentor, and educator, Elizabeth is committed to enhancing clinicians’ intelligence quotient (IQ) and emotional quotient (EQ) to ensure safe, comfortable, and informative treatment for clients with sensitive health diagnoses.
