Eileen’s journey in the field of physical therapy began when she obtained her Bachelors in Kinesiology from Kansas State University in 2009. Building on her passion for helping others, she went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Kansas Medical Center in 2012.

In addition to her impressive educational background, Eileen is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist since 2016. Since graduating, she has been an integral part of The University of Kansas Health System, where she has gained extensive experience in various areas such as acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient lymphedema therapy (specifically for patients with cancer), and currently, pelvic rehabilitation.

Eileen’s expertise and dedication to her field have been recognized through her contributions to published research. Her work includes studies on topics such as CVA and vascular health with exercise intervention, as well as innovative acute care mobility programs. These findings have been shared at local forums and she has had the privilege of presenting at Turning Point.

When she’s not busy helping her patients or conducting research, Eileen finds joy in spending time with her family. She loves engaging in outdoor activities with her children, husband, and dog. In her personal life, Eileen is a triathlete who enjoys gardening, reading books, and exploring new destinations through her travels.
