Dr. Samantha Antonietti PT, DPT, CAPTCC, SFMA, FMS is a licensed physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science degree as well as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Sacred Heart University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at George Washington University.

Dr. Antonietti has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings at multiple hospitals, gaining valuable experience. However, her true passion lies in pelvic floor physical therapy. She has undergone hands-on clinical training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, allowing her to treat individuals of all genders with various pelvic floor dysfunctions, colorectal and coccyx conditions, pudendal nerve dysfunction, as well as pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation.

In addition to her expertise in pelvic floor rehabilitation, Dr. Antonietti also has experience treating athletes with orthopedic and pelvic floor conditions. She takes a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, considering both local and global systems. She is certified in Aquatic Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association (CAPTCC), and often incorporates breathing techniques and specific muscle strength training in a pool to enhance the effectiveness of pelvic floor treatments.

Outside of her work and studies, Dr. Antonietti is an avid marathon and triathlon runner. She has completed the NYC Marathon six times and the Lake Placid Ironman, along with numerous half Ironman races. Growing up as a competitive swimmer and runner, she later developed a passion for cycling. Throughout her athletic career, she has experienced various injuries that required the expertise of different physical therapists. Now, she aims to use her knowledge and skills to provide quality care to all patients and assist them in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
