Their main goal as a PT is to increase pelvic floor knowledge in the community as a whole so that more people can live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives without feeling trapped by pelvic dysfunction. They strive to share their knowledge with patients to help them feel empowered, supported, and confident in knowing that they have the tools to heal, with the assurance that they are there to guide them along the way. Currently, they specialize in treating adults with a vulva and children with pelvic dysfunction, providing valuable assistance during postpartum recovery. In their free time, they enjoy traveling and creating memories with their family and friends, finding relaxation in yoga and running, nurturing their garden and landscaping, and reading to continuously expand their knowledge and maintain a growth mindset. They hold a Bachelor of Science Undergraduate Degree from Wake Forest University in 2003, a Doctor of Physical Therapy Graduate Degree from Boston University in 2009, and have completed various pelvic-specific courses and training, including certification in APTA Pelvic Health Courses such as Physical Therapy Level 1, 2PP, 2BD, and 3, Fundamental Topics of Pregnancy and Postpartum, and Tackling Sacroiliac and Pelvic Girdle Dysfunction.
