Lia began her journey in treating pelvic floor conditions in 2017, and since then, she has cultivated a deep passion for assisting individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction. Her enthusiasm lies particularly in designing return to run programs for patients and addressing running injuries, stemming from her own experience as a collegiate cross country and track athlete. To enhance her expertise, Lia has completed coursework and obtained certifications through APTA Pelvic Health and Herman and Wallace. Additionally, she holds an additional certification for pediatric pelvic floor conditions. To further broaden her skill set, Lia has also received training in body work, myofascial release techniques, and craniosacral therapy.
