Dr. Lauren Scully, PT, DPT, PRPC, obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees from Ithaca College before pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, she returned to her hometown to work at Lutheran Medical Center/ Rusk Rehabilitation at Shore Road, an outpatient affiliate of NYU. It was during her time there that she discovered her passion for Women’s/Men’s health and decided to further enhance her skills through additional coursework at the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institution. In 2015, she earned the PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification), becoming a certified Pelvic Rehabilitation specialist.

With extensive experience in outpatient settings, Dr. Lauren provides trauma-informed care tailored to patients of all genders, including male, female, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming individuals. She has also gained experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, and neurological populations. With 13 years of experience in physical therapy and pelvic rehabilitation, Dr. Lauren is dedicated to improving the quality of life and functional abilities of her patients. She is proud to be a member of the Tri-Pro Physical Therapy team.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Lauren enjoys running and has successfully completed the NYC marathon twice. She is also an avid participant in multi-distance triathlons, having accomplished the challenging “Escape from Alcatraz” triathlon in 2012. Additionally, Dr. Lauren is a busy parent to a toddler, keeping her exceptionally occupied on her days off.
