Dr. Coon, a graduate with honors from James Madison University, earned her Bachelor of Science degree and a minor in Gerontology. She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mary Baldwin University. During her time as a student, Dr. Coon conducted research on the use of visual feedback for gait training in runners. Her passion for treating individuals of all ages is evident, but she has a particular interest in working with older adults and runners of all ages. Currently, Dr. Coon is pursuing advanced certifications through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, focusing on treating pelvic pain and other incontinence related issues. Growing up in the Midlothian area, she has deep roots in the community and is dedicated to giving back through community outreach and building therapeutic relationships. With a background in competitive dance and running, Dr. Coon brings a unique perspective to her practice.
