Deena, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was born and raised in the city and graduated from Union High School in 2006. Her academic journey continued at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2010. In 2011, Deena tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Andrew, and relocated to Seattle, Washington, where Andrew was stationed for his Navy service.

While in Seattle, Deena enrolled at Pima Medical Institute and successfully completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program, obtaining her Associates in Allied Health Science in 2013. From January 2014 to June 2017, Deena practiced as a PTA at Redbud Physical Therapy. Seeking further professional growth, she was admitted to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at South College in Knoxville, TN. In 2019, Deena proudly graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from South College and rejoined her Redbud family.

Currently, Deena is focused on specializing as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Specialist, offering comprehensive treatment for conditions related to the pelvis. She is an active member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) and has held various positions on the OPTA board, including Eastern District Chair from 2015 to 2017, Eastern District Membership Chair from 2018 to 2020, and her current role as OPTA board Secretary.

Outside of her professional life, Deena has a passion for long-distance running and is a proud member of the HalfFanatics running club. She has completed numerous marathons, including the prestigious New York City Marathon. Deena and her husband share a love for outdoor activities, such as walking their dogs, camping, hiking, kayaking, and embarking on road trips to explore the wonders of National Parks.
