Dr. Danielle Rivera holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida. Her passion for improving pelvic health and physical activity led her to establish the pelvic health program at Palms West Hospital in 2015. Through this program, she began helping women and men enhance their pelvic health and empowering women to thrive during pregnancy, post-partum, and natural aging.
In 2021, Dr. Rivera took a significant step by opening her own practice, The Right Balance Physical Therapy and Wellness. This practice is dedicated to educating individuals, both women and men, who suffer from pelvic pain or bowel and bladder symptoms. The primary goal is to encourage patients to ask the right questions about their pelvic health and discover effective solutions for the pain or difficulties they may be experiencing.
At The Right Balance Physical Therapy and Wellness, a wide range of conditions are treated. These include urinary incontinence, retention, frequency, and urgency, as well as constipation, fecal incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pudendal neuralgia, vaginismus, sacroiliac dysfunction, post-partum related back or pelvic pain, coccydynia, and myofascial pain related to endometriosis, gynecological, or gastrointestinal surgery.
Dr. Danielle Rivera’s practice aims to provide comprehensive care and support for individuals seeking relief from pelvic health issues. Through her expertise and commitment, she strives to improve the quality of life for her patients and help them achieve optimal pelvic health.
