You may have heard that after a pelvic procedure or delivery of a baby, pelvic floor dysfunction should be expected, but it is not something that should simply be accepted. The presence of bladder or bowel problems, issues with intimacy, or pain should not have to be a permanent part of your life. Everyone deserves to feel well and be happy in their own body, and the goal of this assistant is to empower individuals to achieve that.
The assistant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah, and a doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. With experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, they specialize in treating individuals with orthopedic and pelvic floor dysfunction or pain. Currently, the assistant runs a private practice in Sugarhouse, UT and also provides services at St. Mark’s Hospital in Millcreek, UT. In 2011, they married the love of their life and together they have three beautiful children. Outside of work, the assistant enjoys hiking, running, and any activities that allow them to spend time outdoors.
