With over 29 years of clinical field practice, Cynthia has provided physical therapy in a wide variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, sub-acute rehab centers, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, and home care services. Throughout her lengthy career, she has gained valuable experience, becoming a highly skilled and versatile clinician. Most of her practice has been in outpatient orthopedic care, specializing in musculoskeletal, neurological, and pre- and post-operative surgical conditions. Later, she decided to focus further on mechanical diagnosis and treatment of the spine and its related conditions, earning her Spine Specialist Certification (Cert. MDT) in 2013 through the prestigious McKenzie Institute. This certification sets her apart as one of the few credentialed spine specialists in the area.

Throughout her career, Cynthia has encountered numerous cases where pain and physical impairments seem to originate from pelvic floor dysfunction. In her ongoing quest to further her education and provide the best care for her patients, she studied Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and its related impairments through the Herman and Wallace Institute. This dedication led her to earn the rare title of Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC). A portion of her current practice involves treating pregnancy and postpartum related pelvic floor dysfunction. Her specialty as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) has been invaluable in diagnosing and treating these often difficult and misunderstood conditions.

Cynthia’s commitment to lifelong learning and passion for providing the best treatment for her patients has led her to continually seek out new knowledge and certifications. In 2019, she became a certified yoga instructor and is currently a registered yoga teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance. She often incorporates beneficial yoga techniques into her clinical treatment sessions and provides one-on-one safety instructions to educate those interested in yoga and prevent potential injury.

Seeing her patients’ improvements is a privilege for Cynthia, and she feels honored to be a part of their journey towards health and recovery. Her dedication and drive have even inspired her daughter to become a Physical Therapist, following in her mother’s footsteps and recently earning her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. In 2021, together with her Physical Therapist husband, Cynthia started a mobile concierge therapy business called Peerless Exclusive Rehabilitation Services. This business provides outpatient Physical Therapy conveniently at home locations, offering a broad spectrum of therapeutic services and a focus on personalized care.
