Corlee is a highly experienced physical therapist with 27 years of expertise in treating patients across various levels of care, including acute care, rehab, home care, and outpatient therapy. Her extensive background allows her to have a unique perspective when it comes to treating patients. She has specialized certifications in lymphedema management, specifically in Breast Cancer Lymphedema, obtained from the Norton School of Lymphedema Management. In addition, she has completed all courses for Women’s Health Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Corlee holds degrees from Hahnemann University in Physical Therapy, where she earned her M.P.T. in 1990, and Brandeis University, where she graduated with Highest Honors in Biology with a B.A. in 1986. Her interest in lymphedema and dedication to caring for breast cancer patients led her to develop an interest in Women’s Pelvic Health. Through the APTA, she completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 of pelvic health education. Her patient care has mainly focused on treating individuals with pelvic and vaginal pain, bowel and bladder incontinence, pelvic prolapse, Interstitial Cystitis (IC), endometriosis, pregnancy and post-partum related back pain, as well as the effects of abdominal and pelvic scar tissue post-surgery. Over the past decade, she has successfully treated individuals of all genders and ages dealing with a wide range of pelvic health issues.

During her time at Brandeis University, Corlee served as a genetics lab assistant in the Harvard Research Department at Children’s Hospital in Boston. She played an integral role in a team that isolated the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy gene, leading to significant advancements in muscular dystrophy treatment and further research. Notably, she presented research at multiple conferences, published two papers as a primary author for the Harvard Research Lab, and contributed as a supporting author for several other publications by the team.

Throughout her career, Corlee has been an invaluable clinical instructor for PT and PTA students. She actively participates in the APTA, as well as the special interest group Section on Women’s Health. Currently, she is working towards becoming a Certified Women’s Specialist (CWS) through the APTA. Recently, Corlee relocated to Greenville with her husband, three cats, and her dog to join Allyson and Natalie at Avila. Although she misses her two grown daughters dearly, she is thrilled to be back on the East Coast, closer to her siblings, and enjoying the proximity to the beach.
