Christy obtained her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mississippi in 1995 and has been practicing for over 28 years in various settings. She is a dedicated learner, continuously seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge. Christy has received additional training in Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Integrative Medicine, and Sensory Integration, all of which have greatly contributed to her holistic approach in treating pelvic floor dysfunction in women, men, and children.

Specializing in pelvic floor conditions such as pelvic pain, urinary and fecal incontinence, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, and sexual dysfunction, Christy closely collaborates with urologists, OBGYNs, family medicine doctors, midwives, and pain management specialists. She offers pre and post-operative treatment for men with prostate cancer to improve their quality of life and restore function. Additionally, she provides comprehensive care for individuals experiencing pelvic pain, including women, men, and pediatric patients with bowel, bladder, and pelvic floor disorders.

Christy’s dedication lies in establishing meaningful connections with her patients, conducting comprehensive evaluations, engaging in research, pioneering new therapeutic interventions, and developing innovative pelvic health programs. She has received specialized training in biofeedback and its application in pelvic floor disorders. As the founding therapist of Rebound Pelvic Health and the first Occupational Therapist in Mississippi to hold the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through Herman and Wallace, Christy is a trailblazer in her field.

In her treatment approach, Christy utilizes a multifaceted strategy tailored to each patient’s unique needs, drawing upon her psychological training in Occupational Therapy. She integrates resilience training and employs a Cognitive Behavioral approach to ensure holistic care and help patients achieve their desired goals and maximum level of function. Additionally, Christy is certified as a Mental Health Medical Provider (CMHIMP), in Dry Needling (UDN-C), and in Dry Needling for Pelvic Floor. She has also served as a Teaching Assistant for Herman and Wallace.
