Christina Dzieduszycki, MSc PT, BA (Kin), is a registered pelvic floor physiotherapist with a passion for helping individuals suffering from pelvic floor dysfunctions. She obtained her Masters of Physiotherapy degree from McMaster University in 2013, following her graduation from York University with undergraduate degrees in Kinesiology and French.
With over 10 post-graduate education courses in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, Christina is dedicated to expanding her knowledge in this field and is committed to pursuing a PhD in pelvic health. Her expertise allows her to treat a wide range of conditions, including bladder leakage, painful sex, pelvic organ prolapse, erectile dysfunction, pregnancy and prostate-related conditions, constipation disorders, and bedwetting, among others.
In addition to her specialization in pelvic floor physiotherapy, Christina also has additional training in Acupuncture, which she regularly incorporates into her treatment plans. With over 19 years of experience as an exercise specialist, she has provided rehabilitative exercise programs to diverse populations, including military personnel, chronic pain sufferers, aging populations, spinal cord injured patients, stroke and breast cancer survivors, neurologically impaired patients, weekend warriors, and professional athletes.
Christina founded Knew Life Pelvic Healing in 2013 and Hamilton Pelvic Health Centre (HPHC) in 2015. She strongly believes in interdisciplinary care and works closely with McMaster Children’s Hospital, collaborating with pediatric psychologists, urologists, gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, and colorectal surgeons to address pelvic floor dysfunctions comprehensively.
At her clinics, Christina emphasizes the Active Care approach, which focuses on developing body awareness through safe and effective exercise techniques. She has witnessed significant improvements in her patients’ quality of life by not only rehabilitating their current injuries and conditions but also preventing future ones. Christina educates her patients on self-management techniques, providing them with tools for their independent home exercise programs.
Christina is dedicated to increasing awareness about the benefits of pelvic floor physiotherapy as the first line of defense against pelvic floor dysfunctions. She has been featured on the “Ask the Expert” radio show and continues to advertise to a wide audience in Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, and Burlington.
As a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and Women’s Health Division, Christina is well-equipped to treat patients with work or sport-related injuries, as well as any form of pelvic, hip, or low back pain. She is bilingual in French and English, ensuring effective communication with a diverse range of patients.
