Chelsea, a native of a Buffalo, New York suburb, spent her formative years in the area before venturing to Albany to attend Siena College. It was during her time at college that she created lasting memories as a member of the cross country team and embarked on a life-changing study abroad program in Ecuador. After completing her undergraduate studies in Biology at Siena, Chelsea returned home and enrolled in physical therapy school at Daemen College, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018.
Following her graduation, Chelsea gained valuable experience working at a hospital in Buffalo before embarking on a new adventure as a travel PT alongside her close friend and fellow ECPT therapist, Elysia. Together, they embarked on their first travel PT assignment in Indianola, Mississippi in January 2019. After spending 15 weeks there, they moved on to their second assignment in Sierra Vista, Arizona, where they enjoyed a fulfilling ten-month stay. However, their hearts were truly captured by the breathtaking beauty of Alaska when they traveled there for their next assignment in February 2020. Unable to resist the allure of the state, Chelsea and Elysia decided to make Alaska their permanent home. In May 2020, they accepted positions at ECPT.
Outside of her work at the clinic, Chelsea finds solace in the great outdoors, indulging in activities such as running, hiking, and biking. In fact, she accomplished a personal milestone by completing her first marathon in Las Vegas in November 2019, with plans for many more in the future. Chelsea also thrives on her love for travel, considering herself a “wanderluster.” Her most cherished memories involve exploring different parts of the country alongside her best friend, Elysia. Among her favorite destinations are Arches National Park in Utah, Lake Powell in Page, Arizona, and the serene Eklutna Lake in Alaska.
Chelsea’s expertise lies in pelvic floor physical therapy, having received specialized training from the esteemed Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has successfully completed Pelvic Floor Level 1 and Level 2A courses, solidifying her knowledge in this field.
