Dr. Yates has practiced physical therapy in NYC for five and a half years before relocating to Boulder, CO. She is currently a partner practitioner at The Postpartum Wellness Center-Boulder. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was a D-1 athlete on the Cross-Country and Track teams. Carolyn served as captain of both teams during her junior and senior years. She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Belmont University, also located in Nashville, Tennessee.

At Verity Physical Therapy & Wellness, Dr. Yates believes in a collaborative approach to treatment. The team includes the patient, any referring doctor, personal trainers, exercise instructors, and herself. Open communication with all involved parties is a priority to ensure a comprehensive recovery. Dr. Yates has a particular passion for treating patients with symptoms related to women’s health issues. She understands the significant impact these symptoms can have on women’s lives on a daily basis. To ensure privacy and comfort, all evaluations and treatments are conducted in private treatment rooms. Dr. Yates strives to instill confidence and security in each and every one of her women’s health patients. She has undergone extensive continuing education and training in pelvic floor physical therapy through Herman & Wallace: The Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
