She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1984. Initially, she worked with manual therapy skills focused on orthopedic and sports populations. However, in 1992, she took her first course in Women’s health and became passionate about it. She had the opportunity to run her own private practice for 13 1/2 years while living on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. In 2000, she moved to St. Louis, where she began primarily working with women and men’s health issues related to pelvic and abdominal dysfunctions and pain. Her practice caters to patients of all ages, from young children to the elderly.

In 2013, she achieved the distinction of becoming a Board Certified Women’s Health Specialist. Since then, she has also worked with biofeedback and is currently pursuing a certification in Visceral Mobilization, which focuses on internal organ and tissue work. In 2016, she relocated her practice to Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Crystal City, Missouri, where she is currently based.

Common diagnoses that she deals with include pelvic pain, pain during intimacy, urinary and fecal incontinence, urinary retention, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), pre and postnatal issues, abdominal pain, and pelvic organ prolapse.
