The practitioner specializes in treating various conditions such as urinary and fecal incontinence, urinary urgency and frequency, pregnancy and postpartum pain, preparation for birth, pregnancy and post-birth pelvic support fittings, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), prolapse, interstitial cystitis, endometriosis, post-prostatectomy issues, and bedwetting in children. Additionally, the practitioner helps patients alleviate chronic pelvic pain to enhance sexual health and offers services to individuals of all gender identities.

The practitioner’s journey in physical therapy began in 2007 when they obtained a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University. They initially worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting, but their desire to expand their knowledge led them to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) while maintaining full-time employment. In 2013, they successfully completed their DPT from Des Moines University. Furthermore, they have accumulated over 2,000 hours of experience in pelvic floor patient care, meeting the requirements to sit for and pass the certification examination offered by the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, known as the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC).
