Bijal obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2009 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Hampton University in 2013. She has been a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) since 2018 and recently earned her PRPC through the Herman & Wallace Institute in 2022. Upon starting her career, Bijal discovered her true passion for pelvic health physical therapy. She strongly believes that individuals should have a basic understanding of their pelvic floor anatomy and function in order to recognize any dysfunction and seek necessary help. Beginning her training with Herman & Wallace in 2015, Bijal continues to expand her knowledge and skill set by participating in continuing education courses, enabling her to provide the best possible care for her patients. Since 2015, she has been treating adult female and male pelvic floor patients with various conditions such as pelvic pain, urinary/bowel dysfunction, oncology-related dysfunction, gynecological conditions, and the prenatal and postpartum population. During her free time, Bijal enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring new travel destinations.
