Beth’s interest in pelvic floor therapy was sparked during her first pregnancy when she realized the importance of understanding and connecting with the pelvic floor for pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. She recognized that Occupational Therapy was an ideal discipline for addressing pelvic floor dysfunction due to its holistic approach. Understanding the pelvic floor requires considering physical, emotional, and environmental factors, all of which fall within the unique skill set and expertise of Occupational Therapists.
Beth’s expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions, including urinary dysfunction, symphysis pubic dysfunction, diastasis recti abdominis, endometriosis, pelvic organ prolapse, pain during intercourse, constipation, interstitial cystitis, vaginismus, pelvis, hip, abdomen, and low back pain, labor and childbirth preparation, perineal tear, cesarean scar, and more. With her comprehensive knowledge and client-centered approach, Beth aims to provide effective therapy and support for individuals experiencing these conditions.
