Ashlie Crewe Campitella obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Gannon University. After relocating to central Pennsylvania, she focused on specialized training in pelvic health physical therapy. Alongside treating patients and refining her skills in pelvic floor therapy, Ashlie pursued additional education in pain neuroscience. This fusion of knowledge ignited her passion for integrating pelvic health courses with the neuroscience of persistent pain conditions.

Ashlie has successfully developed pelvic floor programs in several clinics within her organization. Currently, she provides treatment for individuals of all genders with pelvic health concerns while also offering mentorship to other pelvic floor therapists. Moreover, Ashlie actively educates her community on the importance of pelvic health rehabilitation.

In 2017, Ashlie achieved her Board Certification as a Women’s Health Specialist and became a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner. She is a member of esteemed organizations such as the International Pelvic Pain Society and the Global Pelvic Health Alliance. Additionally, Ashlie has served as a teaching assistant in various Herman and Wallace classes.

Recognizing the need for inclusive and affirming pelvic health education, Ashlie is dedicated to developing curriculum for her company to make it accessible to clinicians. Her primary practice is located in central Pennsylvania, but she also travels to several clinics in the area to provide mentorship to therapists and consultation to patients.

Ashlie’s expertise lies in treating a wide range of pelvic health issues, including pelvic pain conditions, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, post-operative gender-affirmation conditions, constipation, pediatric pelvic floor conditions, and prenatal and postpartum conditions. Her special interest in vaginismus has led her to be a guest on various podcast episodes aimed at educating listeners about the benefits of pelvic physical therapy.

Ashlie is deeply passionate about the multidisciplinary care of persistent pain conditions and is eager to collaborate with experts in various fields to help her patients lead pain-free and fulfilling lives.
