Ashley obtained her Master of Physical Therapy from ECU in 2000 and has been specializing in Pelvic Health Rehab since 2009. She has extensive experience in treating both male and female patients with pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction. Ashley holds a CAPP-Pelvic certification from the APTA Section on Women’s Health, and she has also completed additional training in pelvic health, including the “Male Pelvic Health” course from Herman and Wallace and Myofascial Release classes from John Barnes, PT. If necessary, Ashley may incorporate treatments such as EMG biofeedback or myofascial release into her sessions. Ashley is capable of managing various pelvic health diagnoses, including but not limited to Stress Incontinence, Urgency/Urge Urinary Incontinence, Mixed Incontinence, Nocturia, Frequency, Hesitancy, Fecal Incontinence, Fecal Urgency, Constipation, Pelvic pain, Dyspareunia (Pelvic pain with intercourse), Interstitial Cystitis, Painful bladder syndrome, Pelvic organ prolapse, Vulvodynia, and Prostatitis.
