Dr. Andrea Zuluaga obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Dominican College in 2020. Prior to pursuing her PT education, she graduated Cum Laude from Dominican College in 2017, earning a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Psychology. During her time at Dominican College, Andrea actively participated in the Division II Soccer and Track and Field teams, showcasing her passion for movement and athletics. It was this interest that fueled her desire to become an orthopedic and pediatric physical therapist.

Beginning her career as a new graduate, Andrea was thrilled to embark on her professional journey. However, her introduction to Pelvic Health opened up a new avenue of passion for her. Currently employed at Bella Physical Therapy in Rochelle Park, NJ, Andrea’s focus has shifted towards pelvic health, which has become her primary drive. To further enhance her skills and knowledge in this area, Andrea completed the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certificate (PRPC) at the Herman and Wallace Teaching Institute in 2022. She has also completed the pelvic health series courses, as well as courses on visceral and nerve-related topics.

In addition to her clinical work, Andrea is dedicated to educating and empowering fellow physical therapists to improve their skills and contribute to the development of the profession. As a Lead/Senior Teaching Assistant at Herman and Wallace, a Clinical Instructor for Doctor of Physical Therapy students during their final clinical affiliation, and a Teaching Assistant for open labs at Kean University, Andrea actively supports the growth and refinement of her peers. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Women’s Health Section of the APTA.

Looking ahead, Andrea plans to continue specializing in pelvic and obstetric physical therapy. Simultaneously, she aims to further develop her expertise in orthopedic and functional movement assessment and treatment. In her leisure time, Andrea enjoys playing soccer, running, and indulging in her passion for travel and exploring different cultures. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
