Andrea Freeman, a graduate of the University of Chicago with a degree in French language and literature, discovered her passion for sports rehabilitation during her time as a student athletic trainer. This experience motivated her to pursue further education, and she obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2007. While she has a diverse background in physical therapy, Andrea’s true passion lies in pelvic rehabilitation, focusing on the health of men, women, and transgender individuals.
Taking a holistic approach to treatment, Andrea firmly believes in addressing the mind, body, and spirit of her patients. She is proud to hold her Pelvic Rehab Practitioner Certification from Herman and Wallace and considers it a privilege to work with her patients.
Andrea provides treatment for a variety of conditions, including urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed), pre/postpartum care, general pelvic pain, vaginismus, dyspareunia, vulvodynia, coccydynia, pudendal neuralgia, interstitial cystitis, constipation, detrusor dyssynergia (bladder and anorectal), peri/postmenopausal care, pre/post prostatectomy care, male sexual health issues, male pelvic health issues, transgender care, and LGBTQIA individuals.
In addition to her primary practice location, Andrea also offers her services at the Women’s Health Center, located at 3595 Mt. Diablo Blvd. Suite 350, Lafayette, CA 94549. She can be reached at (925) 962-9129.
