Amy Vander Linden, a seasoned physical therapist with over 20 years of experience, specializes in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release. Recognizing its effectiveness in eliminating painful restrictions and restoring mobility, Amy has dedicated her career to this approach. Her particular passion lies in helping women thrive during and after pregnancy, regardless of whether they gave birth 6 weeks or 16 years ago (as postpartum is an ongoing process). Amy’s goal is to empower these women by educating them about their bodies and the healing process, offering therapeutic touch, and instilling confidence in their ability to resume the activities they love. Through her expertise and guidance, both mother and baby can have an optimal start. In addition to addressing various ailments by relieving restrictions that can exert up to 2000 pounds of pressure on pain-sensitive structures, Amy has also studied Visceral Manipulation to promote optimal digestion and organ function. Her commitment to individualized care and her focus on the often-neglected area of Women’s Health led her to establish Moment of Truth Physical Therapy. Amy further extends her reach through her podcast, Bellies, Babies, and Birth, which serves as a valuable resource for connecting families and building communities. Now, with the expansion of The Healing Space, Amy offers a comprehensive range of services under one roof, including a full yoga studio, massage therapy, and more. To further enhance the care provided, Amy is joined by Melissa Jones, PTA, and Madison Westby, PT, who specialize in pelvic physical therapy.
