Amy, a skilled physical therapist, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has further honed her expertise by completing a residency program at the Ola Grimsby Institute in Seattle, WA, where she achieved her Orthopedic Manual Therapy certification. Additionally, Amy has pursued specialized training in pelvic health through The Institute for Birth Healing and the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, earning her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification.
Before establishing MOJO Pelvic Health, Amy played a pivotal role in establishing successful pelvic health programs in both Washington and Mississippi. She is also one of the founders of Sundara Wellness Center in Memphis, TN, where she currently serves as the Director of Pelvic Health. As part of her commitment to education, Amy lectures at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and speaks at various events throughout the year, advocating for pelvic health physical therapy.
Amy’s approach to patient care is trauma-informed, and she incorporates somatic experiencing techniques to address the psychosomatic responses that our bodies can hold. She is deeply passionate about raising awareness about pelvic health physical therapy and normalizing care for individuals with pelvic conditions.
