Amy holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. She initially pursued her undergraduate studies in Biology at Northwestern State University in Louisiana, where she not only excelled academically but also captained the tennis team. Amy’s dedication to her education and athletic pursuits demonstrates her passion for serving the athletic population.

Amy’s professional interests extend beyond sports medicine, as she is also committed to treating pelvic floor dysfunction. She has actively pursued additional certifications and training to enhance her expertise in these areas. Amy successfully completed an orthopedic residency program and obtained Herman & Wallace Level 1 and 2A certifications.

Recognizing the prevalence of CrossFit athletes and weightlifters seeking physical therapy, Amy is currently working towards obtaining her Cert-CMFA (Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete) through the Institute of Clinical Excellence. This certification will enable her to provide more comprehensive treatment to individuals involved in these specific sports.
