Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science Degree at Sacred Heart University in 2013, completing her undergraduate studies a year ahead of schedule through an accelerated program. She then pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, graduating in May 2016.

Over the past four years, Amanda has specialized in pediatric and orthopedic conditions, successfully treating a wide range of diagnoses. She obtained a certification in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and completed a specialized course in Muscle Energy techniques for the Pelvis and Sacrum. The effectiveness of muscle energy at the pelvis sparked Amanda’s interest in the pelvic floor, leading her to complete the Herman & Wallace series of intensive courses on treating Pelvic Floor Pain & Dysfunction. She also undertook additional courses focused on myofascial and visceral mobilization.

Amanda’s expertise extends to various diagnoses, including urinary or bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, postpartum or surgical-related pelvic pain, and pain in the pelvis, vulva, hip, low back, or tailbone. To further expand her skills, she plans to attend a course specifically addressing pediatric incontinence and dysfunction.

In addition to her specialized training, Amanda has also completed Counter strain courses, allowing her to incorporate a holistic approach in her treatments. She is deeply committed to establishing strong relationships with her patients and approaches each individual and diagnosis with a unique perspective. Amanda works closely with her patients to develop personalized treatment programs that address their specific needs, and she finds great joy in witnessing the improvement in their quality of life.
