Mandy Schaffer, PT, MSPT, CSCS, OCS, is a highly qualified physical therapist with a wealth of expertise in orthopedic treatment. She holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and has completed a rigorous Orthopedic Manual Therapy Residency program through the American Physical Therapy Association. This specialized training has equipped Mandy with advanced assessment and treatment techniques for a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
Mandy’s dedication to professional growth is evident in her Board Certification in Orthopedics as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). This certification further enhances her ability to effectively treat patients with various orthopedic issues, including sports-related injuries, overuse conditions, postural dysfunctions, chronic pain disorders, arthritis, post-surgical rehabilitation, as well as neck and back injuries.
In addition to her expertise in orthopedics, Mandy has developed a specialization in treating pelvic floor dysfunction and providing pre-natal and post-partum rehabilitation for women experiencing orthopedic-related or pelvic pain during and after pregnancy. Her advanced skills and training in myofascial release, particularly as it relates to the pelvic floor, as well as scar tissue restrictions and adhesions, allow her to address widespread tension and pain throughout the body.
Mandy’s commitment to providing comprehensive care extends to her advanced training in dry needling. She has completed Levels 1 and 2 Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore/EIM, which has proven to be an effective complement to her manual therapy techniques. This specialized form of treatment assists in resolving chronic and acute orthopedic conditions by targeting muscle imbalances and areas of tension that contribute to pain and dysfunction.
With a genuine passion for providing personalized therapeutic services, Mandy is dedicated to developing individualized treatment plans tailored to address each client’s unique functional limitations and pain conditions. Her goal is to help every client feel their best and live their best life.
