Dr. Amanda Moe has gained extensive experience working in both in-patient and out-patient settings at a prominent Women’s/Birthing hospital in Houston, TX. There, she has treated a wide range of conditions including bowel/bladder dysfunction (such as urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and constipation), pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, pudendal neuralgia, sacroiliac dysfunction, pubic symphysis dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, and peripartum conditions.
During her time at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Amanda played a key role in the development and expansion of the pediatric pelvic physical therapy program. She has treated children with various diagnoses including bowel and bladder dysfunction, constipation, encopresis, coccydynia, abdominal/groin pain, and other disorders related to the pelvic girdle.
Amanda’s expertise also extends to treating males with pelvic-related dysfunction. She is the only Pelvic PT in Midland with advanced specialty certification for treating men with disorders of the pelvis. Her areas of focus include bowel/bladder dysfunction, pelvic/genital pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sexual dysfunction.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys assistant teaching with the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She also pursues her own physical wellness through working out, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with her family.
