Amanda earned her undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock University in 2013, where she majored in exercise and rehabilitative science. She then pursued her graduate studies at Wheeling Jesuit University, completing her doctorate in physical therapy in 2015. During her time in graduate school, Amanda actively participated in mission trips and volunteered at a pro bono clinic, gaining valuable experience in the field.
After graduating, Amanda joined the Drayer Physical Therapy Institute for her orthopedic residency. Simultaneously, she worked as a staff physical therapist, eventually becoming board certified in orthopedics in 2017. Her dedication to continuous learning led her to pursue studies in pelvic floor therapy, enrolling in the Herman and Wallace program in 2018.
Since then, Amanda has been treating patients with pelvic floor conditions. She prioritizes creating a comfortable environment for her patients and empowering them to choose their own care. In her practice, she employs various techniques such as internal manuals, biofeedback, EMG, and exercise to address issues like urinary incontinence, urinary urgency, urinary frequency, bowel incontinence, constipation, pelvic pain conditions, and pre- and post-operative care for prostatectomy patients.
