Aly obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2014. She is recognized as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and holds a spinal manipulation endorsement from Washington State. Aly adopts a comprehensive treatment approach, utilizing her expertise in orthopedics and manual therapy, while also educating patients on how to manage their own pain. She has completed a significant portion of her orthopedic training through the IAOM-US (International Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy) and the MDT Institute (the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis). After witnessing the profound impact her fellow physical therapists had on their patients and observing the struggles faced by her family members and friends post-partum, Aly decided to specialize in Pelvic Health. She has dedicated countless hours and participated in numerous classes to develop her proficiency in treating the pelvic floor. Particularly, Aly finds fulfillment in helping post-partum patients and addressing urinary and fecal incontinence. Drawing from her own experience with pelvic pain, she is able to empathize with her patients and provide valuable insights into their treatment. Aly strongly believes in the power of education and appreciates the opportunity our profession has to impart knowledge to our patients. Outside of work, Aly remains active in various outdoor activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, tennis, biking, soccer, and running. She also cherishes spending quality time with her six nieces and nephews, as well as her close-knit family.
