The assistant is a 2002 graduate of Duke University Medical School’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and has extensive experience in treating pelvic floor conditions for individuals of all genders. Throughout their career, they have successfully diagnosed and treated various conditions including urinary and fecal incontinence, chronic constipation, pelvic pain, overactive bladder, dyspaurenia, abdominal pain, and pregnancy-related orthopedic and pelvic issues. Employing a combination of patient education, therapeutic exercises, biofeedback, internal and external manual therapy, dry needling, and modalities, they create personalized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs and comfort level of each patient. Assisting them in providing exceptional care is a PTA named Sarah Amos, who has recently completed pelvic floor therapy training and education. Together, they offer individualized and positive treatment experiences for their patients.
