Alexis Kendrick, an assistant professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Arkansas Colleges of Health Education, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree earned in 2016 from Arkansas State University. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas Tech University in 2010. With licensed physical therapy experience in both Michigan and Arkansas, Alexis has treated a diverse range of patients in acute care, geriatrics, and women’s health. Her dedication to her field extends beyond her work, as she has pursued specialized training in pelvic health and hippotherapy. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership alongside her faculty position, Alexis has completed pelvic floor physical therapy training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Additionally, she is a member of the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy of the APTA. Alexis is actively working towards a certification in obstetric physical therapy, driven by her passion to educate the community about pelvic health and improve the quality of life for all individuals.
