3 Fun Facts about the assistant: They have a twin sister, were born with an extra bone in their foot, and have aspired to be a PT since the age of 15. The assistant successfully graduated from PT school at East Carolina University in 2017 and has furthered their education by completing the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Courses 1A and 2A. With their specialized training, the assistant is capable of treating a variety of pelvic pain conditions such as vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, interstitial cystitis, and endometriosis. They are also skilled in addressing urinary incontinence, prolapse, and colorectal conditions including fecal incontinence, rectal pain, and constipation in both males and females. Utilizing internal vaginal and rectal myofascial techniques like trigger point release and Thiele’s massage, the assistant provides effective treatment.
